If you started using Paytm Postpaid after its official relaunch in September 2025 and have a credit line limit from Suryoday Finance Small Bank, you should know that you will be charged a bounce fee of Rs.50 on the 3rd of every month. Paytm Postpaid bills are generated on the 1st of every month, and the 7th is the last due date for making payments on the credit line you’ve used. Furthermore, Paytm also charges a Rs.250 late fee if bills aren’t paid by the due date.

However, If you go to Paytm and try to turn off Auto Pay in automatic Payments, you will get an alert stating that this Automatic payment has been authorized by Suryoday Small Finance Bank and cannot be cancelled.

According to Harsh Upadhyay, Paytm recently received approval from the RBI for offline and cross-border payment aggregation, which will once again propel it to greater heights.

Paytm Postpaid launched in January 2019, offering loans up to Rs.60,000 every month until the 7th. Thousands of users have used it. However, since its re-launch in September 2025 as a UPI credit line, with Suryoday Small Finance Bank acting as the lender, several major changes have been made, including making auto-pay mandatory, and users are now facing a Rs.50 bounce charge.

In my personal experience, I applied postpaid for this in November 2025 and received a Rs.1,000 credit line limit. However, I wasn’t aware that they would deduct Rs.50 via autopay from Suryoday Bank on the 3rd. Although this was mentioned in the document, I ignored it and applied for instant credit line loan.

After getting charged a bounce fee of Rs.50, I tried a lot to stop it but did not find any option in Paytm. Then before complaining in Paytm, I thought of contacting its lender Suryoday Small Finance Bank first and took advice to stop it.
