Paytm Postpaid late fees from January 2026 December 30, 2025 by Editor Staff

I recently received an email notification regarding Paytm postpaid fees, which clearly states, by Suryoday Small Finance Bank (SSFB), that Paytm postpaid late fees will be applicable from the 15th of every month. To put it straightforwardly, your billing cycle will be reduced from 30 days to 15 days. If you spend your credit line on UPI starting in January 2026, you will be charged Rs.250 in late fees after the 15th of every month.

What kind of charges would Paytm Postpaid put on its consumers at the start of the new year? What is the bounce rate, and what late fee will be charged?
| Paytm Postpaid | Charges |
| Convenience fee | 3% |
| Bounce charges | Rs.50 |
| Late Fees | Rs.250-750 |
Isn’t this putting pressure on the customer? Suryoday Small Finance Bank previously charged a ₹50 bounce fee on the 3rd of every month under the automatic payments. As of Tuesday, December 30, 2025, they will begin to charge late fees on the 15th of every month starting in January.

Paytm Postpaid first launched in 2018 with a 2% convenience charge and a 30-day repayment period. However, since September 2025, the rate has been increased to 3% with a ₹50 bounce fee by Suryoday Small Finance Bank.
However, Aditya Birla Capital, its initial lender partner, offered instant loans of up to Rs 60,000 at 0% interest via Paytm Postpaid, which may be repaid after 30 days and charges a fixed late fee of Rs 250 for defaulting to pay the bill by the 7th of every month.
However, since Suryoday Small Finance Bank became a loan partner, various charges and bounces have been added. And now, in January 2026, customers are even more surprised to see a 15-day repayment billing cycle.
What happens if you don’t make your repayment on time?
While making timely payments improves your CIBIL score, if the loan is not repaid on time, even if KYC is completed, not paying your bills on time not only harms your credit score but also requires you to pay significant charges to Paytm and lending institutions. If you do not pay your Paytm postpaid bill by the 15th of each month, you will be charged a late fee of Rs.250 to Rs.750 and an additional Rs.50 in bounce charges.
